Finally! Orcollo Bags World 8-ball Crown

"It's a great feeling to finally win a world title"

These were the words or Dennis Orcollo, after he won the recently concluded World 8-ball Championships held in Fujairah, UAE.



This was his first World Title, after beating Niels Feijen  of the Netherlands 10-3. Orcollo had previously won gold medals for the country, including the 9 ball category in the Guangzhou Asiad.

With the win, he stamps himself with the list of World Champions from the Philippines, like Efren Reyes, Django Bustamante, Ronnie Alcano, Alex Pagulayan, and  Rubilen Amit.

President Aquino recently congratulated World Champion for his achievement in Philippine Billards from this tweet:

Aside from the trophy he will also take home $40,000 as prize money.
