RP TV Giants get awards in the New York Festivals for TV

ABS-CBN and GMA both made the Philippines proud by snatching Silver and Bronze Awards from the New York Festivals Television and Film Awards.

ANC's Documentary "Storyline" took  a Silver medal for Biography and Profiles and Bronze Medal for community portraits category. The stories cover 3 titles, namely: Dukot, Alexis & Nika, Orphan. The show was created by Patricia Evangelista and Paolo Villaluna.




On the other hand, GMA won three awards, One Silver World Medal for  "Biyaheng totoo" (Special report) and Two Bronze medal for "I witness" and Lupang Hinirang (Music Video).  I-Witness is currently hosted by journalists' Sandra Aguinaldo, Jay Taruc, Kara David and Howie Severino.
