Pinoy Documentary wins in 10th Tribeca Film Festival

A Filipino produced and American Directed Documentary won 2 awards in the recent 10th Annual Tribeca Film Festival in New York.


The documentary "Give up tommorow" highlights the 1997 trial of Francisco Larrañaga, one of the seven suspects in the kidnap, rape and murder of Cebu siblings Marijoy and Jacqueline Chiong. The film earned the Heineken Audience Award for best viewer reaction and a special jury mention for director Michael Collins.


The film was produced by Marty Syjuco of Thoughtful Robot Productions.
