Jessica Sanchez, again captivated our ears as she finally bagged a slot in the top 5 of American Idol 2012. Her rendition of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" seemed a bit shaky for me, but she quickly bounced back with "Dance with my Father".
As of this time, Jessica has reached the highest slot by any Filipino related artist ever in the show. Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez has consistently praised not only her vocal ability but also the way she conveyed the emotions to each song she sang. It may be a Whitney Houston song or Queen, she simply catches the attention and empathy of those who listen to her.
The question though remains, how far can she go with this? Does she have what it takes to be come American Idol? For us Pinoys, she's already a winner.
